The 'Raptor' Light Assault Weapon is essentially a micro gatling gun, with its three rotating barrels allowing exceptional rates of fire while at the same time significantly reducing wear and overheating. The 775 also uses a revolutionary new large capacity, helical magazine which fits along the top of the gun where it takes up much less space than a conventional box magazine or snail drum. This feature, in conjunction with its use of the 8mm long pistol round, rather than a full sized rifle cartridge, means a large quantity of ammunition can be carried, while the weapon still remains highly effective against a variety of amour types. For those times it may lack stopping power, the Raptor more than makes up with its high rate of fire, often being able to literally rip targets apart with a storm of 8mm rounds, this tactic being particularly effective when the weapon is loaded with HEAP ammunition. In addition to its own in-built laser painting unit, factory fitted 60% recoil baffling come as standard to help prevent muzzle climb as does a complete fire select system giving you control over the weapons burst size including a single shot option. Each unit comes fitted with three high quality, heavy duty, ceramic barrels which utilize a unique air cooling system to prevent overheating when the gun is used for long periods of suppressive fire. The guns mechansim is gas opereted rather than relying on an intergral motor, which not only makes the 775 extremely reliable but also gives it a long user life and negates the use of an additional power pack. All 8mm LAWs come with sculpted, rubber lined, grips and stock making them comfortable to use, plus thanks to the weapons light weight and compact profile it's easy to handle without the need for a waldo mounting. Provision is also made for the 775 to accept a variety of accessories from our range including specially designed silencers, optical sight systems and bipods should the purchaser wish, making the Raptor ideal for a wide range of applications.
