Third Eye 'Limpet' Onboard Computer +++

The next step beyond the standard Oyster Laptop, now Third Eye are proud to offer all operatives their new 'Limpet' personnel computer which is not only designed to be fully portable, but also to become an integral part of your Powered Armour. Featuring all the standard features of the Oyster, the Limpet is designed to be permanently mounted on either the upper arm or the thigh plating of your armour (or anywhere else convenient) from where it can be connected to a variety of other systems, both internal and external. Instead of a conventional screen, data is displayed via a HUD incorporated into your helmets visor this not only allows you have constant updates of the systems current status, but also permits the use of overlays, direct video feeds and other graphics. Two forms of interface are provided with the unit, a voice recognition system for totally hands free operation and a wrist mounted keyboard unit, with its own sliding armoured cover, for those times when you need to input data manually or use of the VRS is not desirable. A high-resolution helmet mounted camera, with enhanced audio pickup, comes as standard and provides visual input to the computer when needed as well as allowing video footage to be recorded. The Limpet comes with its own integral, three slot, data-slug driver as standard as well as provision for the connection of up to eight peripherals via chippy lead jacks. The complete system is highly durable and fully battle hardened and comes with its own armoured ceramic outer casing making it as tough as the armour its fitted to. The price includes full instillation in the armour type of your choice as well as all other modifications to your visor and helmet. Designed to form the core of an integrated system, the Limpet is able to interface with virtually all-existing SLA hardware via its chippy connectors and thanks to its use of standard SLA interfaces and protocols should be able to handle any future developments. Third Eye are also currently working closely with a range of other companies such as FEN, Karma, Track Optics and Boopa to bring you a whole range of new and exciting add ons for the system. Each of which are intended to make the most of the Limpets design and extend the capabilities of your armour.
